Lovely, lovely it was, riding on Sunday, 21 miles through the sleeping village of Roosevelt, through the morning sharpness of the Assunpink preserve, talking with riders and their horses - well whispering to horses actually, since we didn't want to spook them, or let anyone think we were odd.We stopped to rest and water up at the Clarksburg General store, then headed home up 571. Everyone made it! Mason Quilty was truckin' on his big grey beach cruiser, and the go fast boys, Halley Gartner and Dillon Torno, were secretly trying to dust Madeline Cozine and Tris Wood. Marisa Green, Catherine Rodrigue, Jackie Wang were alternately chatting in the quiet sun, while Gabe Siciliano and PJC were moving from group to group, riding with everyone, taking in the day.
